As a San Ramon wedding photographer, I always get excited when I get to photograph love stories close to home — and this San Ramon Waters wedding at Wedgewood Weddings was one of my favorites. Wedgewood has several beautiful venues across California, but San Ramon Waters is truly something special. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, blooming rose bushes, and towering willow trees that sway gently in the breeze — a photographer’s dream setting.
The day began with soft May sunshine spilling across the venue, highlighting the garden pathways and reflecting off the lake nearby. The couple decided to share a first look under the romantic rose arch right at the entrance to the venue. In full bloom, it made the perfect backdrop for such an emotional moment. Their reactions were pure joy — the kind of love-filled exchange that reminds me why I adore being a wedding photographer in San Ramon.
After their first look, the couple exchanged personal vows in a quiet, intimate moment before the ceremony began. Then we moved to the golf course for their portraits, where the golden light shimmered on the grass and trees. The combination of the willow trees, soft natural light, and peaceful surroundings made every photo feel dreamy and timeless.

It was such a heartfelt gesture that had everyone cheering (and maybe tearing up a little too).
As the evening continued, the celebration was full of laughter, dancing, and so much love. One of my favorite moments was when the couple replaced the traditional bouquet toss with a stuffed animal toss — an adorable idea that had all the kids running and giggling. It perfectly captured their fun, joyful personalities.
