How to be photo ready on your wedding day?

You want to look and feel amazing in your wedding photos, and I got you!

Here’s a quick list on how to be photo-ready on your big day:

1. Prep Your Skin

  • Hydrate like crazy in the days leading up. Glowy skin starts from within!
  • Stick to your skincare routine—no last-minute experiments to avoid breakouts.
  • Get good sleep the night before (or at least try). Tired eyes show in photos!
  • Blot, don’t shine – Bring blotting papers or powder to control oil.
  • Grooms, don’t overlook your nails - Your hands will be in the spotlight too. Keep them clean, trimmed, and moisturized for a polished look

2. Camera-Friendly Makeup & Hair

  • Use a setting spray to keep your makeup flawless all day.
  • Choose HD foundation (avoids flashback in photos).
  • Matte is your friend – Avoid super dewy products that can look greasy in photos.
  • Waterproof everything—mascara, eyeliner, even setting spray.
  • Hair trial & touch-ups – Do a trial before the big day and have backup pins/spray handy.

3. Flattering Poses & Posture

  • Stand tall & relax shoulders – Good posture makes a huge difference.
  • Angle slightly – Facing the camera straight on can look stiff.
  • Smile naturally – Think happy thoughts instead of forcing it!
  • Practice your angles – Play with different expressions in a mirror before the wedding.

4. Dress & Accessories Check

  • Steam/iron your outfit ahead of time, don't wait till the wedding day
  • Check for fit & comfort—you want to look confident and relaxed.
  • Bring a mini emergency kit (lipstick, bobby pins, tissues, etc.).

5. Confidence is Key!

  • Enjoy the moment – The happiest brides/grooms always look the best!
  • Laugh, have fun, and let your love shine—nothing beats a genuine smile.
